I love everything about it except for the skull! Awesome how the bird is flying right out of his arm and i really like the color scheme of this series!

How do you pull this kind of thing off? Do you us a tablet and draw it up in photoshop and then vectorize it in illustrator or something? I just cant see this being practical to make in straight vector from the get go.
