an illie for a weird little pop-up book about type classification. this one's of blackletter/old english/gothic type. appropriated Grant Wood's American Gothic and changed the female into a goth and the male into an old englishman. any suggestions would be appreciated. i also have to do serif, and sans serif. so if you guys have any ideas? that would be great.

Sans serif? You might be able to use the fact that "sans" is a French word... but I can't think of anything.
Serif you could do something like "I Shot the Serif", but I think that's been used already.
I dunno.

that fonts history is german, but love the cpncept and illustration. reminds me of an old american painting with a couple in front of a barn
